It appeared I think one of these appear, with alien messiag aboard (conventional,green) on the cover of National Lampoon magazine in the 1970's. At the time it caused some outrage - that was before theology had evolved to the point which it has now. Or maybe we are all at the same level because, after all, the whole universe is not older more than a few thousands of years, and aliens are just all created in parallel. And the list goes on ...
