Graphene Transistors

Just read an interesting little article on graphene transistors. I’d never even heard of them before, apparently it’s the stuff that’s in your pencil. Anyway, with a bit of work you can make amazing transistors with it.

    It is a fairly recent development in condensed matter physics, and it has been very actively studied ever since physicists learned how to peel a single layer of graphite, using a scotch tape (as ridiculous as it sounds), few years ago.
